From Masha's diary, 1975: «Tonight Melvar came back from Schwartzman (Mikhail Schwartzman was a Leningrad avant-garde artist and a close friend of both Melvar and Viktor Krivulin). He brought a folder with Krivulin's verses. How painfully my heart ached! What seems impossible in real life, may be possible in the realm of the spirit. Two jealous enemies met this evening in one room. They met through their creations — and their creations are why I lived and loved».
